Welcome to our site

This Christian based ministry is dedicated to helping those in stepfamilies, considering remarriage, divorced/single with children and professionals. While the stepfamily and second marriages become more common, success is not guaranteed.  The truth is that second marriages end in divorce more often than first marriages (60 percent, compared to just less than 50 percent). The SW Florida Stepfamily Association is dedicated to helping stepfamilies deal with the many issues you will face on your stepfamily journey.

Find help dealing with:

 The couple relationship - Parenting -   Financial stress - in-laws - couple time - communication - ex-spouses - kids coming and going - feeling like the "wicked stepparent" - feeling like a referee.

Stepfamilies do not have the same dynamics of a nuclear family.  In fact, your stepfamily will face a number of predictable stages and unique challenges that nuclear families do not deal with.  Don't be another statisitic.  Let us or somebody else trained in stepfamily issues help your family be a success story. Just as Jesus instructed us to seek in order to find, many have discovered this truth extends to help with family life also.
